Bariatric Mattress

The Bariatric Comfort Foam Mattress by Cobi Rehab is a pressure-relieving support surface specifically engineered for bariatric patients, with a safe working load of up to 325 kg. Designed for use in hospitals, aged care, and home care settings, this mattress offers targeted prevention and management of pressure ulcers up to Stage 1, meeting the complex needs of larger individuals while maintaining clinical integrity.

Built with two specialist foam layers, the mattress includes a robust polyurethane (PU) foam base for structural stability and longevity, and a 3 cm viscoelastic top layer that conforms to body contours to evenly redistribute pressure and enhance comfort. This dual-layer system supports long-term immersion and envelopment—essential for high-risk skin integrity care.

The protective cover is made from durable, liquid-resistant, breathable, and anti-bacterial fabric, designed to reduce moisture build-up and support infection control protocols. It is flame-retardant and machine washable up to 95°C, making it easy to maintain high hygiene standards across clinical environments.

With an expected product life of seven years, and compliance with ISO Classification 18 12 18 – 25 and Risk Class I, this mattress is a reliable, medically certified solution. It’s available in multiple widths to accommodate a range of bed sizes and bariatric patient profiles, ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort.

Well, the mattress is totally perfect. The one I got originally was excellent, but then I thought maybe I needed a firmer one. I rang Ricardo, and he could not have been more helpful. He bought around the firmer one, and I had a trial and found it to be amazing, so he has just swapped them over. I seriously cannot recommend him highly enough.
 
His care is incredible. He even made my bed perfectly when he changed the mattress over. I didn’t have to do anything except get into bed when it was night time!!! So, if any other participants are needing such a thing, please keep this in mind because I honestly couldn’t be happier.
