The Mountain Trike is a highly innovative all-terrain, self-propelled wheelchair, purposefully designed to provide users with greater freedom, mobility, and participation in daily and recreational outdoor activities. Engineered with robust performance features and clinical comfort in mind, the Mountain Trike supports individuals with limited mobility who want to maintain an active lifestyle across various terrains—including mud, gravel, sand, and grass.
At its core is a lightweight yet durable aluminium frame, paired with RockShox Monarch R air suspension, allowing the chair to absorb uneven ground and minimise jolts that could compromise spinal alignment or user comfort. SRAM Level hydraulic disc brakes deliver reliable all-weather control, providing safety on steep inclines and rough trails.
The Trike’s ergonomically designed bucket-style seating with a 20° angle offers a stable and supportive posture for users with varying trunk control, while the tension-adjustable backrest straps, moulded comfort cushions, and foot straps provide added support and customisation. Its adjustable footrest flips up or can be removed entirely to ease transfers, while a removable seat cushion enhances hygiene and pressure management.
The unique lever-drive propulsion system enables self-propulsion with clean, dry hands—an essential feature for users in wet or muddy conditions—offering an upper-body workout while maintaining functionality and independence. With a maximum user weight of 100 kg and height suitability up to 6’4”, it supports a broad spectrum of users.

Well, the mattress is totally perfect. The one I got originally was excellent, but then I thought maybe I needed a firmer one. I rang Ricardo, and he could not have been more helpful. He bought around the firmer one, and I had a trial and found it to be amazing, so he has just swapped them over. I seriously cannot recommend him highly enough.
His care is incredible. He even made my bed perfectly when he changed the mattress over. I didn’t have to do anything except get into bed when it was night time!!! So, if any other participants are needing such a thing, please keep this in mind because I honestly couldn’t be happier.

I bought a Mountain Trike in 2015 when living in Wales it changed my life, not only is it a all-terrain wheelchair, it also keeps you fit using your middle core and strengthening your arms, after being a marathon and fell runner for many years, and having an accident in 2014 which changed my life, the Mountain Trike has given me back my mogo.
I am 65 years old and now living in Perth enjoying all the cycling tracks, the weather etc so there is no age limit to this wheelchair please give it a try it might change your life too!
