Mountain Trike MT Push All Terrain Wheelchair

The MT Push from Mountain Trike provides users with limited mobility a safe, comfortable, and inclusive way to enjoy the outdoors. Designed for attendant use, it offers an ideal balance of ergonomic support and rugged all-terrain functionality. Whether for a family hike, a beach outing, or a muddy festival, the MT Push makes shared adventures more accessible – now and into the future, with its upgrade-ready frame.

The Mountain Trike MT Push is an all-terrain, attendant-controlled wheelchair designed to offer inclusive outdoor access for individuals unable to self-propel. Featuring a robust and ergonomic design, the MT Push is an ideal mobility solution for users with limited upper limb strength, reduced motor function, neurological conditions, or significant fatigue—providing a safe and dignified way to explore varied terrain with the support of a caregiver or companion.

Steered and braked from a rear-mounted push handle, the MT Push allows a support person to navigate the wheelchair confidently across challenging environments including uneven paths, bush tracks, grassy parks, sandy beaches, and urban trails. The drive levers from the traditional Mountain Trike have been replaced with foam-covered adjustable armrests, enhancing comfort while ensuring safety and stability for the rider.

The SRAM Level hydraulic disc braking system, controlled entirely from the push handle, ensures smooth handling and reliable stopping power in all conditions. The RockShox Monarch suspension system, combined with a 20° ergonomic bucket seat, foam cushioning, and tension-adjustable back support, promotes postural integrity and reduces jarring for users prone to pressure injuries, spasticity, or tone irregularities.

Importantly, the MT Push is designed to be future-proof: it can be upgraded to a self-propelled Mountain Trike configuration, should the user’s independence improve or circumstances change. This flexibility also extends to size adjustments, allowing the MT Push to be adapted for children and grow with them into adulthood.

The wheelchair folds into a compact cube shape, and the rear push handle is easily removable for transport. A 3-year warranty and a wide range of colours and accessories are available, making the MT Push a clinically sound and highly customisable choice for supported outdoor mobility.
