Metzeler Glamour Mattress
The Metzeler Glamour Mattress provides therapeutic pressure redistribution, enhanced comfort, and clinical reliability, supporting improved outcomes for clients requiring medium- to high-risk pressure care while maintaining hygiene and environmental responsibility.
The Metzeler Glamour Mattress is a premium, static pressure care mattress designed for individuals at medium to high risk of pressure injuries. Engineered for clinical efficacy and comfort, it provides robust support across a broad range of care settings, including aged care, rehabilitation, and community health environments.
At its core is Metzeler’s patented Rubex® Duo Cell foam, a bi-elastic, dual-pore material optimised for precision pressure redistribution. Large pores offer adaptive softness, while small pores provide targeted support, enabling effective body contouring and spinal alignment. The foam’s open-cell structure promotes airflow and moisture transport, maintaining a stable microclimate and protecting skin integrity for clients with limited mobility or skin sensitivity.
The mattress incorporates a 7-zone ergonomic design, delivering anatomically aligned support for the head, shoulders, lumbar spine, pelvis, and lower limbs. This zoning minimises peak pressure points, making it suitable for users who are partially mobile, require repositioning assistance, or need preventative pressure care.
Encased in a medical-grade, waterproof, breathable cover, the Glamour Mattress supports infection control and hygiene compliance. The cover is fully removable and machine washable up to 95°C, providing safe, long-term usability in both clinical and home environments.
Constructed for durable, long-term performance, the mattress facilitates gentle mobility, enabling users to reposition themselves more easily and reducing strain on carers during transfers. Its robust foam core accommodates a range of body weights, ensuring consistent therapeutic support.
Environmentally conscious, the Glamour Mattress is made from non-toxic, petroleum-free materials, including natural sunflower oil, supporting sustainability and minimising exposure to volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Available in multiple sizes and firmness levels, it combines clinical-grade pressure care, user comfort, and environmental responsibility in a single, high-performance solution.
