The Cura Legacy Chair is a versatile, clinically designed care chair developed to support individuals with neurological, physical, or progressive conditions requiring long-term seating. Standard functions include Tilt-in-Space, backrest recline, and an elevating leg rest, all of which promote pressure redistribution, improved circulation, and safe postural support.
Modular and Size-Appropriate Design
Available in three sizes, including the Infant Legacy Chair for paediatric users, the Legacy range provides adaptable seating from childhood through adulthood. Its modular construction allows clinicians to adjust the chair to accommodate progressive conditions or changing clinical requirements over time, ensuring continuity of use.
Customisable Clinical Features
Optional upgrades include postural supports (lateral supports, footplates, seat belts), feeding/therapy trays, and electric adjustment features, enabling the chair to be tailored for complex conditions such as cerebral palsy, stroke, acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injury. Contoured cushioning supports midline alignment, stability, and comfort in daily use.
Practicality and Safety
Built for reliability in home, residential, and community settings, the Cura Legacy Chair is fitted with lockable castors for safe mobility and positioning. With a high weight capacity and compatibility with Bodypoint® harnesses, it ensures both safety and clinical flexibility.
Aesthetic and Clinical Integration
The chair is available in stocked fabric options with further customisation available on request, combining clinical-grade adjustability with aesthetic appeal to preserve dignity across care environments. The Cura Legacy Chair is fully suitable for NDIS-funded prescriptions and transitional seating post-hospital discharge.
