Bariatric Patient Chair

The Bariatric Patient Chair is a clinically engineered seating solution for bariatric individuals in healthcare, aged care, and home environments. With a safe working load of 325 kg, it features a powder-coated chromium molybdenum steel frame for maximum stability and long-term durability.

Designed for both patient care and dining use, it provides polyurethane seat, back, and armrests that are water-resistant, easy to disinfect, and support infection control protocols. Adjustable seat width (610 mm or 710 mm), depth (400–520 mm), and height (440–590 mm) allow a tailored clinical fit to optimise posture, pressure management, and patient comfort.

Weighing only 16.5 – 17.5 kg, the chair is lightweight yet robust, allowing safe and practical use across bedside, dining, and consultation spaces. Fully compliant with EN 12182, classified under ISO 18 09 03 14, and designed with a minimum service life of 7 years, it ensures reliable performance in bariatric care. This combination of strength, hygiene, and adjustability makes it a trusted solution for both clinicians and patients.

Well, the mattress is totally perfect. The one I got originally was excellent, but then I thought maybe I needed a firmer one. I rang Ricardo, and he could not have been more helpful. He bought around the firmer one, and I had a trial and found it to be amazing, so he has just swapped them over. I seriously cannot recommend him highly enough.
 
His care is incredible. He even made my bed perfectly when he changed the mattress over. I didn’t have to do anything except get into bed when it was night time!!! So, if any other participants are needing such a thing, please keep this in mind because I honestly couldn’t be happier.

I bought a Mountain Trike in 2015 when living in Wales it changed my life, not only is it a all-terrain wheelchair, it also keeps you fit using your middle core and strengthening your arms, after being a marathon and fell runner for many years, and having an accident in 2014 which changed my life, the Mountain Trike has given me back my mogo.
 
I am 65 years old and now living in Perth enjoying all the cycling tracks, the weather etc so there is no age limit to this wheelchair please give it a try it might change your life too!
