The Mountain Trike Evo is a purpose-built, electric-assist all-terrain wheelchair designed to support users with reduced grip strength, upper limb impairment, or complex physical needs who still wish to independently explore outdoor environments. Engineered for clinical versatility and long-term durability, the MT Evo enables users to maintain an active lifestyle with improved access to uneven terrain such as gravel paths, parklands, bush tracks, and inclines.

Unlike the standard lever-driven Mountain Trike, the Evo replaces manual gripping mechanisms with looped controls, making it ideal for users with limited dexterity, such as those with tetraplegia, cerebral palsy, stroke recovery, or other neurological or motor impairments. The Evo combines this adaptive design with a power-assisted hub motor, enabling propulsion via thumb throttle, twist throttle, or in hybrid mode, where both manual levers and electric assist can be used together.

Postural integrity and pressure care are supported through a 20° bucket-style seating system, moulded comfort foam cushions, and tension-adjustable support straps, ensuring proper alignment and comfort across variable terrains. The RockShox Monarch R air suspension system helps absorb shock and vibration, protecting joint health and minimising fatigue—an essential consideration for users with reduced mobility or tone.

All-weather SRAM Level hydraulic disc brakes provide superior control and safety, while the lightweight aluminium frame and foldable design (into a compact cube) allow for easier transportation by carers, families, or users themselves. The eKit system powering the Evo provides a range of approximately 8–20 miles depending on usage and conditions, and the battery is easy to remove for charging.

Designed for customisation and long-term use, the Evo is compatible with seatbelt and support accessories and is available in a variety of colours. It is also covered by a 3-year warranty.

Hannah C - Client

Well, the mattress is totally perfect. The one I got originally was excellent, but then I thought maybe I needed a firmer one. I rang Ricardo, and he could not have been more helpful. He bought around the firmer one, and I had a trial and found it to be amazing, so he has just swapped them over. I seriously cannot recommend him highly enough.

His care is incredible. He even made my bed perfectly when he changed the mattress over. I didn’t have to do anything except get into bed when it was night time!!! So, if any other participants are needing such a thing, please keep this in mind because I honestly couldn’t be happier.

Tina - Client

I can’t speak highly enough of the team at Finch Healthcare. From my first interaction, they were kind, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right solution.

The team were incredibly accommodating and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They took the time to listen, offered thoughtful advice, and worked around my schedule to make everything easy. I felt supported every step of the way, and their knowledge and compassion made a real difference.

If you’re after a company that values people, provides excellent products, and truly cares, I wholeheartedly recommend Finch Healthcare. A rare find these days.

Coralie - Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist I am constantly on the hunt for equipment specialists that show a genuine interest in getting good outcomes for my clients, provide a responsive and reliable service, have excellent industry knowledge and offer honest advice. Finch ticks all these boxes.

Courtney - Therapist

My client thoroughly enjoys her Metzeler Mattress and “feels like a queen”. She has found the mattress helps her sleep much better than her previous systems she was using.

Kirsten - Therapist

My client T.B was climbing out of their previous bed to sleep with mum. This has now stopped; he is happy to remain in his current bed because of his new Metzeler mattress. He will now even ‘relax’ in bed to listen to music or chill out as well – he never did this before.

Jemma - Therapist

I have an aged Care Client who requires a trial of a queen-sized Metzeler Mattress with view to purchase if it meets her needs. I’m going Metzeler first as I haven’t had anyone that hasn’t liked it.
