Paediatric Cura Chairs

All Cura Chairs are available in paediatric versions, known as the Kinder range, designed to provide younger users with the same clinical performance, postural support, and functional adjustability as the standard Cura Chairs. The Kinder chairs are scaled appropriately for smaller bodies, supporting safe participation in daily activities in paediatric care settings, schools, or home environments.

Kinder Contour – Adjustable Backrest System
The Kinder Contour features a highly adaptable paediatric backrest that can be manually adjusted in height, depth, angle, offset, and rotation to accommodate spinal asymmetries, kyphotic presentations, or other postural variations. It can be fitted to existing Cura paediatric seating platforms and supplied in various fabric and colour options. Standard features include tilt-in-space, backrest recline, and legrest elevation, available in both manual and electrically operated care chairs.

Kinder Legacy – Flexible Paediatric Care Chair
The Kinder Legacy offers clinically-focused seating with tilt-in-space, legrest elevation, and adjustable back recline, suitable for a broad range of paediatric users with diverse postural and functional needs. Seat depth, width, and height are adjustable to optimise alignment, while multi-directional braked castors provide stability and manoeuvrability in care environments.

Customisation and Clinical Integration
Both Kinder models support Bodypoint® harnesses and optional accessories such as removable pommels and tablet device mounts, with a wide range of upholstery finishes and colours to meet clinical, functional, and aesthetic requirements. The Kinder range ensures reliable, long-term, and safe postural management for paediatric users across a variety of settings.

Well, the mattress is totally perfect. The one I got originally was excellent, but then I thought maybe I needed a firmer one. I rang Ricardo, and he could not have been more helpful. He bought around the firmer one, and I had a trial and found it to be amazing, so he has just swapped them over. I seriously cannot recommend him highly enough.

His care is incredible. He even made my bed perfectly when he changed the mattress over. I didn’t have to do anything except get into bed when it was night time!!! So, if any other participants are needing such a thing, please keep this in mind because I honestly couldn’t be happier.

I can’t speak highly enough of the team at Finch Healthcare. From my first interaction, they were kind, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right solution.

The team were incredibly accommodating and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They took the time to listen, offered thoughtful advice, and worked around my schedule to make everything easy. I felt supported every step of the way, and their knowledge and compassion made a real difference.

If you’re after a company that values people, provides excellent products, and truly cares, I wholeheartedly recommend Finch Healthcare. A rare find these days.

I am 65 years old and now living in Perth enjoying all the cycling tracks, the weather etc so there is no age limit to this wheelchair please give it a try it might change your life too!

My client T.B was climbing out of their previous bed to sleep with mum. This has now stopped; he is happy to remain in his current bed because of his new Metzeler mattress. He will now even ‘relax’ in bed to listen to music or chill out as well – he never did this before.

I have an aged Care Client who requires a trial of a queen-sized Metzeler Mattress with view to purchase if it meets her needs. I’m going Metzeler first as I haven’t had anyone that hasn’t liked it.

Coralie - Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist I am constantly on the hunt for equipment specialists that show a genuine interest in getting good outcomes for my clients, provide a responsive and reliable service, have excellent industry knowledge and offer honest advice. Finch ticks all these boxes.

My client thoroughly enjoys her Metzeler Mattress and “feels like a queen”. She has found the mattress helps her sleep much better than her previous systems she was using.
