The Mountain Trike MT ePush is an attendant-propelled, all-terrain wheelchair equipped with electric assist to reduce physical strain on the caregiver and extend access to more rugged and steep terrain. Designed with both the user and attendant in mind, the MT ePush is ideal for individuals who are unable to self-propel, including those living with significant mobility impairments, fatigue, neuromuscular conditions, or upper limb limitations.
With rear-mounted SRAM Level hydraulic disc brakes and steering controlled from the push handle, the ePush allows an attendant to confidently manoeuvre the wheelchair across varied surfaces. The addition of a 250W hub motor and 36V lithium-ion battery—controlled from the push handle—provides seamless power assistance when required. This electric mode reduces effort for the pusher and enables longer, more adventurous outings for both the rider and support person. The system can be toggled between manual and powered modes, allowing flexible use across different settings.
Comfort and safety are prioritised through the RockShox Monarch air suspension, 20° bucket seat angle, and a removable foam seat cushion with wipe-clean fabric. These features offer excellent postural support and pressure relief, making the ePush suitable for users with high care needs or complex seating requirements. The foldable design and lightweight aluminium frame support easy transport and storage.
